Treasure Truth #1: Trust that God Will Provide

Our God owns everything. There is not one resource in this world that when broken down isn’t His. He allows us to freely use His things and has given us access to all we need and want.

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.- Philippians 4:19

But the true riches that satisfy us are found in Jesus Christ. All of our needs are met in Jesus Christ. The Philippian church gave to Paul when he was in need. He looked forward to how they were building heavenly treasures in heaven. He connected their giving to building everlasting treasures. Paul said they were a fragrant offering to the Lord. He was letting them know that in response they would experience the ultimate provision of God. God would supply their needs with overflow because of their sacrifice.

Are you trusting God to provide in your life?

No matter what is going on in your life, no matter what is going on around you, trust that God will provide.

Stop believing the lie.

The enemy wants you to believe that there is never enough to give to the church. Never enough to give to others. Never enough to share. Never enough to sacrifice more.

But God says He is our Provider. He tells us to give back to Him. That we have enough to give others, enough to share, and enough to sacrifice more.

The things we give back to the Lord are never wasted. 

Trust the truth over the lie. Faith is an action word. Take what you know and put it to action. Give first, plan second, and watch God open the doors for you and your family.

Take this moment to rest in this truth, we can always say yes to God because He has and will say yes to us through His Son Jesus. Let’s keep our eyes on the full provision and contentment that comes from our Father.
